A Four-Legged Addition to the Family! (and a video, too)

Seriously - is there anything cuter than a puppy?! Me thinks not.

Meet Nash!!!! He's an eight week old puggle that we brought home from Ohio on Tuesday. He's my mom's little guy - although, he better get used to seeing a lot of us, too!! Nash is cute as can be and has all of those little puppy wrinkles that make him irresistible. 

I didn't used to be a big dog person. Even though we had a dog (Ozzie- a beagle/australian shepherd mix) when I was in middle school through college, he was a little off his rocker and pretty much always had us on edge worrying that he was going to bite someone. Puppy Prozac probably should have been prescribed. Anyways, all of this changed when we got Sloan and I quickly became one of those dog lovers. For whatever reason (maybe because she's cute as heck), I gained a new appreciation for all four-legged friends, even ones that I'd known for some time.  

I know I'm not the only crazy person out there that's like this, so don't get those eyes rolling too far back into your head. As sappy as it sounds, Sloan has been a rock in my life, especially since my dad passed. She really does have a strong intuition and knows right away when I need some puppy love. I've told her things that I don't think I've told anyone else and I really feel like she has a window to my soul. I know.....but it's true!!

Sloan and Nash have wasted no time becoming buddies and I'm sure they will be up to no good sooner rather than later! I'm so excited that there are two puggles around now. Goodness knows they're going to provide endless entertainment for years to come. Welcome to the family, Nash! We're already crazy in love with you!
