More Baby Gear Essentials

Here are some more baby-related things that we're loving these days! In case you missed it, here's a link to our favorites from the first couple of weeks. Keep in mind, we haven't tried other products in many of these categories so I have no doubt that there are other wonderful things out there, but this is what has worked well for us.

Boppy Changing Table Liners- I heard about these at my friend's shower and am I ever glad that I did! These are such a great option instead of washing the changing table cover every time Avery pees or poops on it (which happens more often than I imagined it would!). The liners are so easy to rinse and pop in the wash. They come in packs of three, so we haven't had trouble having them ready to go when an accident strikes.

4Moms Infant Tub- We love this tub, mainly because of the temperature reader on it. It's easy to forget that babies' temperature gauges are so different than ours, so the digital reading that turns green when you're in clear with the temperature is super helpful. It's also roomy and the three water plugs make it easy to fill and drain. This insert is also awesome and puts me at ease that Avery isn't flailing against hard plastic at this teeny tiny stage.

Ergo 360- My goodness are there a ton of babywearing options out there! We have a couple of different types and the one I've been grabbing the most as of late is the Ergo. I like the wrap style carriers too, but I find that in terms of my comfort and Avery's head stability the Ergo fits the bill the best. Right now we've only been using the inward facing position, but I'm excited to try the other three as Avery grows.

Chicco KeyFit 30 Carseat & Snap n Go- Cannot recommend this car seat system enough! Super easy to use. We ended up finding a Snap n Go on Craigslist which was in great condition. Highly recommend looking for gently used gear on Craigslist in general.

Medela Quick-Clean Sanitizing Bags - At first I felt a little lazy buying these, but after about three days of boiling and sanitizing after each pumping, they very quickly became worth it. You can use each bag 20 times - score!

Halo Cotton Muslin Sleepsack Swaddle- Gosh that's a mouthful :)  After Avery turned into a Houdini in her Summer Swaddles and was too big for them, we switched to these and they've been great. I still swear by the Summer Swaddles for the newborn stage, but these seem to be the best option for us now that little one is growing like a weed! I love the muslin cotton for the summer because it's been sooo hot outside and this is breathable fabric.

MAM Pacifiers- I was under the incorrect assumption that most pacifiers are the same, which is not the case at all. After testing out a couple different types with Avery, this is definitely her favorite.
