It's been quite the busy start to the week over here with conferences and report cards, but I'll be back in full swing soon....I have some fun new products and things to share! In the meantime, I'm holding myself accountable with a house project update.
Here's what we accomplished this weekend (although it wasn't as much as originally planned, spending Saturday in Cville with the girls was well worth it....and our house isn't going anywhere...). I swapped out our runner upstairs for a new one that is much more in line with our color scheme, sold our coffee table that was yet another place to store things, moved some other furniture around in the living room around to open up more space, poured white vinegar all over the ivy outside which is supposedly (and hopefully!) an all-natural killer, pulled up some dead/ugly plants from our patio in the back, and moved a bunch of clutter into the attic.
Things to still tackle: hang new art and our wedding guestbook, paint both bathrooms, reorganize the laundry room, and clean out our catch-all closet in the living room (I swear, we always seem to end up with THE most random stuff in there!). There's obviously more, but these are the managable ones for now that we're looking to cross off the list.
