San Diego- Etc.

I'm quickly realizing that if I devote as much time and detail to these honeymoon posts as I'd like to, they will never be published! So, here's a quick rundown of other sights and restaurants that we loved in Coronado/San Diego (all green titles are links).

Torrey Pines Golf Course and Lodge- This was mainly for CP (we actually looked into staying here, but our weeks were blocked off for some reason- it ended up being okay because it was too far off the beaten track for us and I think we would have gotten bored easily if we had stayed there). Beautiful grounds, though, and an incredible pro shop.

La Jolla- Can't say enough about this area. From the view to the seals to the shops to the food.....you just can't go wrong. We went three times in our week there.

Chez Loma- By far our best meal in Coronado (hello, escargot!). Service was impeccable, too.

Balboa Park- We could have spent days exploring the grounds and museums here! Love that it's all central, and you can knock a ton out even if you're only there for a day.

Searsucker- Another great restaurant (in the Gaslamp district). Awesome vibe, yummy food.....and some of the Yankees who were in town playing were there the night before!

The ZOO- So fun. We even ran into our DC friends Alison and Ray who were also in SD:)

Extraordinary Desserts- We may have walked late night through some shady streets, but the desserts here were well worth it. They line was insane, but so were the hundreds of delectable desserts you could choose from.
