Yummy in my Tummy

Part of my journey towards a healthier lifestyle has included eating "cleaner".  Yeah, I'm not really sure what the true definition of "cleaner" is either, but let's roll with it. To me, it means less snacking on processed foods and more consumption of foods that are straight from the tree, ground, vine, etc.  Talk about having to work hard! Don't get me wrong, I loooove me some za and other indulgent junk. That being said, I do feel less lethargic when I'm a cleaner eater.

Enter Allie. Allie and I went to highschool together and, although we weren't in the same grade, we spent many many MANY hours together doing a certain activity together.....that involved marching....and instruments.  Allie is super healthy and has a fantastic blog with scrumptious recipes that I frequently check in on.  Here are the cookies that I've made wayyyy too many times to own up to.  Run, don't walk, to your mixing bowls.
(Please excuse my amateur photo skills....aren't our counter tops HOT!?)

The cookies are vegan and are filled with dried fruit and nuts. Oh, and chia seeds. My newest obsession.

  1. Hahaha many hours under the hot sun. We could've used some of these cookies back then! I spy Costco pecans :)
