Evolution Juices

I've been a Starbucks junkie for as long as I can remember. My mom and I had a ritual when I was in elementary school of sharing a cinnamon scone there once a week before school, and Meredith and I always joke that my parents could single-handedly keep the 'bux in business.

I was happy when Starbucks decided to use more natural ingredients in their yummy treats (and I'm even more excited that you can no longer smoke outside of the stores). Since their shift in focus regarding nutrition, they've continued to add satisfying options. Now if we could only get them to post calories on their items here in VA, like they do in other states. Helllloooo 500 calorie raspberry lemon loaf! Don't get me wrong- it's scrumptious, and certainly okay to indulge in every now and then, but I think people who eat it every day might back off if they had the nutritional stats staring them in the face.

Nonetheless, one of my new favorite finds there is the line of Evolution juices. There are many different flavor options- I've tried the apple berry and pineapple coconut water. Both were delicious. The apple berry reminds me of the Naked juices, although it's thinner in consistency, which I like. The only thing you need to watch out for with these is the sugar and carb count. Of course, the sugars in there are all natural and far better for you than anything that's refined, but it is important to keep the sugar count in mind in terms of your overall daily intake.
