You know those people that you come across, either in real life or via some other route, who are just so darn inspirational? I'd like to think that rather than inadvertently making us feel inadequate, they are there to remind us that we each have a heck of a lot more that we can contribute to society - whether that be tomorrow, next year, or over our entire lifetime.
Erik Compton is one of those people.
Kelle Hampton is also one of those people (you must watch the video at the end of her post.....if your heart is not bursting, please go see your doctor).
I'm off to Charlottesville for a little last minute personal vacation this week. It's one of my favorite places in the world, and I can't wait to recharge before year five (!!!) of teaching is officially underway.
PS. CP and I are planning a trip to Scotland for spring break this year. It will be a much needed return trip for me (I spent my third year of college there), and the thought of sharing the magic that permeates throughout that country with CP makes me overflow with excitment. You know what else gets me excited? This article!
