I feel like I eat all day while I'm teaching. There's always a ton of food around and most of it is pretty unhealthy, so I've made much more of an effort this year to keep a large supply of yummy snacks in my classroom. Below are some of my favorites (although there are many, many more as well).
Nature's Habit granola is by far the best I've found to date. It's not sickeningly sweet and it has real dried fruit in it. I had the one with pecans most recently, and it was the perfect mix-in with fage and chia seed paste. I'm not sure what mainstream stores carry Nature's Habit granola, but like most things, I've started purchasing it on Amazon.
I literally just found these the other day at Whole Foods. They're brand spankin' new and have quickly risen to the top of the list. I have a bit of a sweet-salty obsession and these hit the spot! So yummy with a good dip. Back to Nature has a lot of other wholesome crackers, too. The white cheddar rice crackers are quite scrumptous.
Notice the sweet potato theme here? I love the Food Should Taste Good philosophy and these chiparoos certainly do taste good. I grabbed them at Starbucks a few times and have been stocking up on them in bulk recently. I haven't tried too many of the other flavors, but one day I will muster the courage to try the chocolate flavored ones!
I saw that granola at Homegoods! I'll have to get it next time. I've been loving Michele's Granola lately. Local and so so so so good. Food Should Taste Good chips are the BOMB! I love Cheddar.
ReplyDeleteAllie, have been thinking to myself that a trip to HomeGoods is in order soon!!!
